Upgrade your grilled ham sandwich with juicy pears for a quick, Italian-inspired dinner in 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/2 loaf focaccia bread (13 to 15 inches long), cut in half horizontally
  • 8 slices (2 oz each) ham
  • 1 medium pear, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat contact grill for 5 minutes.
  • Spread the tangy mustard on one half of the bread, then stack on layers of savory ham, sweet pear, and gooey cheese, finishing it off with the other half of the bread. Give the sandwich a shiny glaze by lightly brushing the top with oil, then slice it into quarters for easy serving.
  • Once the grill is nice and hot, simply place the sandwiches on the grill, close the lid, and grill for 4 to 6 minutes until the cheese is perfectly melted and the bread turns a delightful golden brown.
