Satisfy the family with a hearty and delicious ham chowder.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups cubed (1-inch) russet or red potatoes
  • 3 cups cubed (1-inch) fully cooked ham
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (14.75 ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 dried bay leaves
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 Reynolds® Slow Cooker Liner
Instructions:
  • Place a Reynolds® Slow Cooker Liner in a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, ensuring a snug fit against the bottom and sides of the bowl, and pull the top of the liner over the rim of the bowl.
  • Add all ingredients, excluding bay leaf and cheese, into the slow cooker liner. Gently stir with a wooden or plastic spoon to combine everything. Top with bay leaves and cover with the lid.
  • Slow cook for 8 to 9 hours on low or 3 to 4 hours on high.
  • Remove the lid to release steam and discard bay leaves. Stir in cheese gently. Serve the chowder from the slow cooker liner, and top each serving with more shredded cheese, if desired. Allow the slow cooker to cool completely before removing and discarding the liner.
