Enhance your holiday table with a tangy cranberry sauce bursting with fresh flavors and spices.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 5 whole allspice berries
  • 4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1.5 cups water
Instructions:
  • Create a fragrant spice bundle by wrapping cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice berries in a spice bag.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, simmer cranberries, water, and spice bag until the cranberries burst, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Once the sugar is stirred in, lower the heat and cook until the sugar completely dissolves, approximately 5 minutes. Then, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
  • Remove the spice bag from the cranberry sauce. Cover the sauce and let it chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours to overnight before serving.
