Elevate your fruit game with grilled bananas and figs, perfect with honey and yogurt or decadent chocolate sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 4 firm lady finger bananas, peeled
  • 20g butter, softened
  • 4 figs, halved lengthways
  • 12.00 gm brown sugar, plus extra to serve
  • Honey, to drizzle
  • Greek-style natural yoghurt, to serve
  • 20.00 ml natural almonds, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill to a tantalizing medium-high heat while elegantly lining a baking tray with aluminum foil.
  • Slice the bananas lengthwise. Spread the butter on the cut side of the bananas. Arrange the bananas and figs, cut side up, on the baking tray.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar over the bananas and figs, then generously drizzle with honey. Cook for a total of 6 minutes until soft and golden, flipping the bananas halfway through. Divide the fruit among serving dishes, topping each with a dollop of yogurt. Sprinkle a little more brown sugar over the yogurt to slightly dissolve it. Finish with a generous sprinkle of almonds over the bananas and figs.
