Honey Lemon Ginger Tea

Energizing hot tea: honey, lemon, brown sugar, and fresh ginger for a cozy, zesty sip.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups water
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup grated ginger root
  • 3 tea bags
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
Instructions:
  • Combine water, brown sugar, and freshly grated ginger in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
  • Take the pot off the heat and gently introduce the tea bags. Let the tea infuse to your preferred intensity for 3 to 5 minutes. Lift out and dispose of the tea bags.
  • Combine the zesty lemon juice and sweet honey with the tea, then pour the mixture through a strainer into a pitcher.
