Spicy, sweet, and salty pecan snack made with butter, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and Splenda®.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 2 tablespoons granular no-calorie sucralose sweetener (such as Splenda®)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) for a perfectly precise bake.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add cumin and cayenne pepper, stirring until fragrant, around 1 minute. Off the heat, swiftly coat pecans with sucralose sweetener and salt in the spiced butter. Transfer nut mixture to a baking sheet to set.
  • Roast pecans in a preheated oven until golden brown, stirring occasionally, for 25 to 30 minutes.
