Whip up an easy and flavorful sweet-and-spicy sauce for your classic meatballs!
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 cup Progresso™ dry bread crumbs (any flavor)
  • 2/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 bottles (12 ounces each) chili sauce
  • 2 jars (10 ounces each) grape jelly
Instructions:
  • - Preheat your oven to 400°F. - Combine all ingredients, except for the chili sauce and jelly, in a mixing bowl and stir until well mixed. - Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. - Arrange the meatballs in a 13x9x2 inch rectangular pan (no need to grease) or on a rack in a broiler pan.
  • Bake uncovered for around 20 minutes, or until the center is no longer pink and the juices run clear.
  • In a Dutch oven, combine chili sauce and jelly over medium heat, stirring constantly until jelly is melted. Add meatballs and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Serve hot with toothpicks.
