Spicy beer cocktail with tomato, lime, and hot sauce - a vegan and gluten-free twist on a classic!
Ingredients:
  • Sriracha salt as needed
  • 0.5 cup ice cubes, or as needed
  • 1 cup chilled tomato juice
  • 1 medium lime, juiced
  • 0.5 teaspoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon smoked salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon celery seed
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters (such as Angostura®)
  • 0.125 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®), or to taste
  • 1 pinch habanero powder
  • 1 cup gluten-free beer
Instructions:
  • Coat the rim of a frosty 1-pint mug with Sriracha salt and add ice cubes until 1/4 full.
  • Drop 2 ice cubes into a cocktail shaker along with tomato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, smoked salt, celery seed, bitters, black pepper, hot pepper sauce, and habanero powder. Shake vigorously.
  • Pour the tantalizing tomato cocktail into the mug and generously top it off with beer, gently stirring to blend the flavors. As you savor each sip, continue topping up your mug with more beer for ultimate enjoyment.
