Hot Chocolate Bombs

Add frozen chocolate bomb to hot milk, stir for quick homemade hot chocolate.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a microwave-safe dish, mix chocolate chips, cream, and sugar. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla and salt until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Using a generous cookie scoop, dollop chocolate mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer until completely solid, for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • Form the frozen scoops into balls, then coat them with rich cocoa powder. Keep them in a freezer-safe container until you're ready to enjoy.
