Hot cross buns and roasted strawberries

Elevate your weekend breakfast with a gourmet twist on leftover hot cross buns!
Ingredients:
  • 375g strawberries, hulled, halved
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • 2.50 gm ground cinnamon
  • 3 hot cross buns, sliced crossways into thirds
  • 75.00 gm Nutella
  • 125.00 ml reduced-fat vanilla yoghurt, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 230°C. Line a small roasting pan with baking paper, then add strawberries. Sprinkle them with sugar and cinnamon, toss to coat, and roast for 10 minutes until juicy and collapsed.
  • Toast bun slices until golden and crispy, then generously spread one side of each slice with indulgent Nutella.
  • On each plate, arrange 2 slices of bun. Drizzle strawberries and syrup over the bun. Finish with a dollop of yogurt and enjoy.
