"Whip up a scrumptious smoked salmon and potato tray bake with just 6 simple ingredients."
Ingredients:
  • 600ml thickened cream
  • 180ml milk
  • 2kg pkt Red Royale Potatoes, cut into 5mm-thick slices
  • 185g pkt hot smoked salmon or drained canned red salmon, coarsely flaked
  • 250g vintage cheddar, grated
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C. Combine cream, milk, and garlic in a medium bowl, then season to taste.
  • Layer one-third of the potato slices in the base of the baking dish, slightly overlapping. Season and pour one-third of the cream mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle with one-third of the cheese and half of the salmon. Repeat this process twice more to create three layers, ending with a layer of potatoes, cream, and cheese.
  • Wrap with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the potato is tender and the gratin is golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
