Achieve perfect mushrooms without added fat by dry sautéing - easy, fast, and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 to 1 pound of fresh cremini, button, or porcini mushrooms, cleaned and sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • Sprinkle of salt, optional
Instructions:
  • Place sliced mushrooms in a preheated non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Stir occasionally and season with salt as desired while cooking.
  • Continuously stir the mushrooms over medium heat until they release their moisture, ensuring they are hot but not overly browned or dried out.
  • Remove the mushrooms from heat once they have released most of their moisture, which typically takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Enhance the mushrooms with a luxurious touch of butter, a sprinkle of salt, pepper, or parsley, and a splash of marsala to elevate the flavor. They can also be used in various other delectable recipes. Enjoyed the dish? Please show your support by rating it and sharing your feedback below!
