Easy 5-ingredient Ultimate Chocolate Christmas Trees with pretzel trunks, sprinkles, and Reese's cups for assembly ease. Use baking paper hacks for simple piping and create a festive forest of treats.
Ingredients:
  • 170g (1 cup) dark chocolate melts
  • 170g (1 cup) white chocolate melts
  • 12 pretzel sticks
  • Christmas sprinkles
  • 12 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Instructions:
  • Cut a small triangle out of a cardboard piece with 5cm base and 6cm long sides. Trace around this triangle using a pencil on a 45cm sheet of GLAD Bake to create 12 triangles, making sure to leave space for the pretzel 'trunks'.
  • Oil a board or tray and place the GLAD Bake marked-side-down on it to prevent sliding. Use a light-colored board for easy visibility of pencil marks. Trim or break pretzels into 5cm pieces. Place each piece at the base of a triangle pretzel to create a 'trunk'.
  • To create piping bags, unroll a sheet of GLAD Bake and fold it over to form a double-layer triangle. Cut along the edge, unfold to reveal a square, then cut along the fold to yield 2 triangles. Position one triangle with the point facing you and the widest edge pointing away from you - this will be the nozzle point. Fold the right-hand side in towards the point, followed by the left-hand side to bring all points together neatly.
  • Create a tight cone shape by delicately folding the points together. Hold the three layers securely in place and turn the cone around. Fold the 3 layers of points over twice to secure the bag.
  • Create another bag using the remaining triangle, then make two additional bags using additional GLAD Bake.
  • Securely hold a plastic bag and add half of the dark chocolate melts, then place them into the bag. Sit the bag in a bowl with the point facing down, and microwave for 2 minutes, or until the chocolate is soft. Seal the open end and cut off the tip. Pipe the chocolate generously in a zigzag pattern on 6 pretzel triangles, covering the top half. Be sure to gently squeeze from the end of the bag, not the tip. Melt the rest of the dark chocolate melts in another bag and pipe onto the remaining triangles. Chill for 10 minutes, or until the chocolate sets.
  • Transfer the sprinkles into a small bowl. Melt half of the white chocolate melts in a piping bag. Drizzle over the dark chocolate, sprinkle the sprinkles before it sets. Repeat with the remaining white chocolate. Chill for 10 minutes until set. Serve in peanut butter cups.
