Indulge in a refreshing cold-steeped chai latte with honey syrup and milk for a delightful treat that lasts all week.
Ingredients:
  • For the iced chai:
  • 4 tea bags of chai
  • 1 quart water
  • For the honey syrup:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • To serve:
  • Milk, any kind
Instructions:
  • Infuse the tea: Mix the tea and water in a quart-sized jar. Cover and let it infuse at room temperature for 4 to 12 hours. The longer you wait, the bolder the flavor will be.
  • Prepare the honey syrup: Mix honey and water in a small glass container. Microwave for 30 seconds until warm. Stir well until honey is fully dissolved. Cool, cover, and refrigerate until ready to use (lasts approximately a week).
  • Discard the tea bags: After the tea has steeped to your desired strength, simply remove the tea bags. Enjoy the tea right away or store it in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Create a refreshing iced chai latte by starting with a glass of ice cubes. Drizzle 1 to 3 teaspoons of honey syrup over the ice. Pour in 1 cup of iced chai and add your desired amount of milk. Give it a good stir, adjust sweetness or creaminess to taste, and enjoy! Both the chai and honey syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
