Spiced Indian rice infused with fragrant curry, cinnamon, and garlic - a flavorful and aromatic side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.125 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 pinches ground cloves
  • 1 small onion, coarsely chopped
Instructions:
  • Combine water and chicken broth in a pot and bring to a rolling boil.
  • In a bowl, mix rice, curry powder, garlic powder, cinnamon, paprika, and cloves. Add spiced rice and onion to the boiling broth. Cook covered until rice is tender, about 20-25 minutes.
