Irish whiskey turns coffee into a cozy winter treat with a kick.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1.5 fluid ounces whiskey
- 6 fluid ounces hot coffee
- 1 teaspoon white sugar, or more to taste
- 0.25 cup whipped cream
Instructions:
- Spread the sugar on a plate or shallow bowl. Gently moisten the rim of an Irish coffee glass with a damp paper towel and dip it into the sugar to coat.
- In a glass, elegantly pour in Irish whiskey. Fill up with coffee, leaving a 1/2 inch space at the top. Add sugar, give it a gentle stir, and finish it off with a dollop of whipped cream.
