Homemade Irish cream liqueur, a hit with loved ones, lasts for weeks in fridge, ready to sip over ice.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle Irish whiskey
  • 8.75 ounces milk chocolate
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 (12 fluid ounce) cans evaporated milk
  • 2.5 cups heavy cream
  • 0.25 teaspoon instant coffee granules
Instructions:
  • - Begin by adding a splash of whiskey into a large bowl. - Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler, continuously stirring until silky. - Combine the melted chocolate with the whiskey in the bowl. - Slowly mix in sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk. - Stir in cream, instant coffee granules, and the rest of the whiskey.
  • Transfer the mixture into three 750-milliliter bottles, seal, and refrigerate. Let it mature for at least 1 month. When ready to serve, shake well, and pour into small glasses over crushed ice. Enjoy!
