Italian Ham and Pasta Salad

Create a flavorful Italian pasta salad with bow-tie pasta, broccoli, ham, and bell pepper tossed in homemade dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (9 oz) Frozen Broccoli Cuts
  • 3 1/2 cups uncooked bow-tie (farfalle) pasta (7 oz)
  • 1 lb cooked ham, cut into julienne strips
  • 1/2 medium green bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano leaves or 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh marjoram leaves or 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Cook the broccoli and pasta according to package directions. Drain the broccoli and pasta separately. Rinse the pasta with cold water and drain.
  • Combine all the dressing ingredients in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed. Toss in the broccoli, pasta, and remaining salad components, gently combining. Refrigerate covered for a minimum of 6 hours until chilled.
