Introducing a crowd-pleasing potluck favorite! Pair store-bought meatballs with pasta sauce for a quick and easy hit.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bag (18 oz) frozen cooked Italian meatballs
  • 1 jar (14 oz) tomato pasta sauce (any variety)
  • 1 box (9 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed to drain
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Italian-style cheese blend (6 oz)
  • 2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 13x9x2 inch rectangular baking dish with cooking spray. Microwave meatballs in a microwavable bowl on High for 3 to 5 minutes until warmed. Stir in pasta sauce until coated.
  • Arrange half of the meatballs in a baking dish. Combine spinach, cream cheese, and 1/2 cup of shredded cheese. Spoon half of the spinach mixture by tablespoonfuls over the meatballs.
  • Mix Bisquick and milk in a bowl until a soft dough forms. Spoon half of the dough by tablespoonfuls over the meatballs randomly. Repeat the layers with the remaining meatballs, spinach mixture, and Bisquick mixture.
  • Bake uncovered for around 20 minutes until biscuits turn golden brown. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
