Spicy Jamaican BBQ marinade with a zesty, tangy, and sweet flavor. Swap jalapenos for habanero for extra heat!
Ingredients:
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 0.75 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1.5 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
Instructions:
  • Combine the green onions, onion, jalapeno pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, vegetable oil, brown sugar, thyme, cloves, nutmeg, and allspice in a food processor or blender. Pulse for 15 seconds.
  • Transfer the chicken to a medium bowl and generously coat it with the flavorful marinade. Let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or better yet, overnight for enhanced taste.
  • Get your grill nice and hot!
  • Prepare the grill by lightly oiling the grate. Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes until the juices run clear.
