Ingredients:

0.5 cup butter
2 cups confectioners' sugar
3 cups flaked coconut
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 (10 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained

Instructions:

In a saucepan, melt butter until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and coconut until well combined. Form mixture into balls.
Make a central indentation in each cookie and arrange them on a baking sheet. Add half a maraschino cherry into each indentation, then fill with melted chocolate. Refrigerate until solid and store in the fridge.
