Try this quick and budget-friendly jelly trifle for your next gathering - it's a summer party essential!
Ingredients:
  • 2 85g pkts all-natural strawberry flavour jelly crystals
  • 500g (2 punnets) strawberries
  • 85g Original Orange jelly crystals
  • 625mls (2 1/2 cups) prepared vanilla custard (Oak brand)
Instructions:
  • Prepare 1 packet of strawberry jelly as directed on the packet. Divide the mixture evenly among the plastic cups. Chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours or until firm.
  • Prepare 1 punnet of strawberries by washing, hulling, and chopping them. Distribute them evenly over the set jelly in cups. Follow the orange jelly packet instructions to make the jelly, then pour it evenly over the strawberries. Chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours until set.
  • Prepare the remaining strawberry jelly as instructed on the packet. Divide it evenly among the cups. Chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours or until firm.
  • Before serving, drizzle the luscious custard over the jelly cups, ensuring a perfect distribution. Then, freshen up the dish with the remaining strawberries. Serve promptly for the best experience.
