Whip up delicious cornmeal pancakes topped with maple syrup for a breakfast everyone will enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Mix together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl using a fork.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and oil. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  • Preheat a lightly oiled griddle over medium-high heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, about 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, about 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
