Irresistibly easy heavenly dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Angel Food Cake Mix
  • 1 1/3 cups cold water
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup Key lime or regular lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime peel
  • 1 container (12 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • Sliced kiwifruit and strawberries, if desired
Instructions:
  • Prepare cake mix according to package instructions, using cold water. Allow the cake to cool completely. Cut the cake horizontally into 3 layers and place the bottom layer, cut side up, on a serving plate.
  • Combine milk, lime juice, and lime peel in a large bowl and whisk until smooth and thickened. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
  • Evenly spread 1 cup of the zesty lime mixture over the first layer of cake. Gently place the second layer on top and spread another cup of the lime mixture evenly. Finally, top with the last layer of cake.
  • Cover the top and sides of the cake with the rest of the lime mixture, then generously sprinkle with coconut. Finish off by elegantly decorating the cake with kiwifruit and strawberries.
