Korean beef stir-fry

Whip up a flavorful Korean beef stir-fry for a fast and tasty dinner option.
Ingredients:
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tsp ginger, finely grated
  • 60ml soy sauce
  • 40.00 ml mirin
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 8.00 gm brown sugar
  • 600g beef round steak, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 450g hokkien noodles
  • 9.20 gm peanut oil
  • 1 red capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 100g snow peas, halved diagonally
Instructions:
  • In a glass bowl, mix together garlic, ginger, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, and sugar. Add beef and coat thoroughly. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Cook noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • 1. In a hot wok, swirl around 1 teaspoon of peanut oil. Cook the beef in batches for 2 minutes until browned, while keeping the marinade aside. 2. Add the remaining oil to the wok and stir-fry the capsicum and snow peas for 3 minutes. 3. Return the beef to the wok along with the reserved marinade and noodles. Stir-fry for 2 more minutes until the beef is fully cooked.
