Lamb & guacamole burgers

Delicious lamb burger paired with crispy shoestring fries for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1kg shoestring superfries
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 150g tub guacamole dip
  • 500g lamb steak
  • 4 wholemeal round rolls
  • 4 iceberg lettuce leaves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200C or 180C fan. Lay out the fries on a baking tray and bake as instructed on the packet. In a shallow dish, combine the lamb steaks with oil, juice, and oregano, making sure they are well coated. Sear the lamb in a medium frying pan on high heat for 1-2 minutes per side until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  • Take the rolls and gently separate them. Layer each base with crisp lettuce leaves and a juicy lamb leg steak. Spoon the dip evenly over each burger. Set the burger tops aside and accompany the burgers with a side of fries.
