Layer hearty Bolognese and creamy white sauce between pasta sheets for a mouthwatering lasagna masterpiece.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 litres Bolognese sauce (meaty)
  • 1 litre white base sauce
  • 400 g dried lasagne sheets
  • 100 g hard cheese
  • olive oil for greasing
Instructions:
  • - Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4. - Spread 1/5 of the Bolognese sauce in a deep 35cm x 25cm ovenproof dish. - Swirl in 1/5 of the white sauce over the Bolognese. - Layer with pasta sheets. - Repeat layering with sauces and lasagne sheets. - Sprinkle with grated cheese. - Grease a sheet of tin foil and cover the dish without touching the cheese. - Bake for 45 minutes until pasta is hot and soft. - Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until bubbling and golden.
