Revolutionize your taste buds with this irresistible peppermint bark. Velvety ganache nestled between layers of crunchy peppermint and white chocolate creates a harmonious balance of textures.
Ingredients:
  • 20 ounces white chocolate, coarsely chopped, divided
  • 30 peppermint candies, crushed, divided
  • 10 ounces dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 6 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 9x12-inch baking pan by lining it with aluminum foil or parchment paper; put it aside for later.
  • Gently melt half of the white chocolate over a double boiler, stirring often and scraping down the sides to prevent burning. Spread the melted white chocolate in the pan. Sprinkle a quarter of the crushed peppermint candies evenly. Chill until firm, around 15 minutes.
  • Melt dark chocolate, heavy cream, and peppermint extract in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring until just melted. Pour over chilled white chocolate layer, spread evenly, then refrigerate until firm for about 20 minutes.
  • Melt the rest of the white chocolate in a double boiler until smooth. Spread it over the chilled chocolate layers, sprinkle with the rest of the peppermint candies, then chill until firm for about 20 minutes. Cut or break into small pieces before serving.
