Blueberry lemon scones with a zesty sweet glaze, easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup lemon yogurt
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 0.5 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease a large baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, 1 teaspoon of lemon zest, baking soda, and salt.
  • Combine zesty lemon yogurt, rich butter, and a luscious egg in a separate bowl. Gently fold in the vibrant blueberries until just combined with the flour mixture.
  • Spoon batter onto the baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each spoonful.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown, for 15-18 minutes.
  • Combine confectioners' sugar, lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest until the glaze is smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm scones and serve.
