Lemon Tea Slush

Cool off with a refreshing citrus green tea slush.
Ingredients:
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 tea bags green tea
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1 bottle (1 liter) sparkling water, chilled
  • Lemon slices, if desired
Instructions:
  • Boil 1 cup of water until steaming hot. Pour the hot water over the tea bags and allow them to steep for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool.
  • Bring the remaining 4 cups of water to a boil. Stir in the sugar until it's completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
  • Combine tea, sugar water, lemonade concentrate, and vodka in a 3-quart plastic container. Seal tightly and freeze for at least 24 hours.
  • For serving, fill each glass with 2/3 cup of slush and top with 1/3 cup of sparkling water. Stir gently, then garnish with lemon slices.
