Whip up a zesty Chex® Mix with a hint of frozen lemonade for a quick and tasty snack.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
  • 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup frozen (thawed) lemonade concentrate
Instructions:
  • Combine the cereals and almonds in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  • Place butter in a microwavable measuring cup and microwave on High for about 40 seconds until melted. Stir in sugar and lemonade concentrate. Microwave on High for 30 seconds, then pour over cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated. Microwave on High for about 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes until mixture starts to brown.
  • Transfer the mixture onto waxed paper or foil to cool before storing it in an airtight container.
