Instructions:
  • Prepare the macaroni according to package instructions, remembering to skip the salt and adding the peas during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  • In a 10-inch nonstick skillet, gently warm milk, cream cheese, and American cheese over medium-low heat, stirring with a wire whisk until the cheese is fully melted.
  • Combine the cooked macaroni and peas with the cheese sauce, mixing well. Allow it to sit for 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens slightly. Serve, topping with croutons for added crunch.
