Decadent vegan chocolate cake recipe passed down through generations.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups water
  • 0.5 cup canola oil
  • 0.25 cup cider vinegar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda in a bowl. Stir in water, canola oil, and vinegar until the batter is smooth. Transfer the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan before slicing.
