Indulgent lobster tails in rich tomato sauce, paired perfectly with linguine. Serve lobster meat on the side or mix into sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1 small garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 6 (6 ounce) lobster tails, thawed
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, warm up the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Sauté onion and garlic in oil until golden brown, approximately 8 minutes.
  • Combine the aromatic mixture of parsley and succulent lobster tails with the fragrant onion and garlic; cook until the shells blush a vibrant red color, typically in about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Combine crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, salt, and black pepper with lobster tails in a pot. Simmer over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the lobster tails from the sauce and gently shake off any excess. Optionally, separate the lobster meat from the shells and fold into the sauce or serve the meat and shells separately.
