Delicious slow cooker meatloaf made with ground turkey and beef, topped with a sweet glaze that your family will adore, perfect for a low-fat meal.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1.5 pounds ground round beef
  • 1 pound ground turkey breast
  • 0.75 cup unseasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Coat the slow cooker with a thin layer of cooking spray.
  • Mix together ground round and turkey in a bowl until fully combined. Add bread crumbs, soup mix, parsley flakes, black pepper, and garlic powder; stir to combine. Incorporate eggs, 1/4 cup ketchup, and mustard until well mixed. Shape meat mixture into a loaf and place it in the slow cooker. Cook on High for about 6 hours until the center is no longer pink; ensure it reaches an internal temperature of at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
  • Combine 3 tablespoons of ketchup with brown sugar in a small bowl to create a delicious glaze. Brush the glaze over the meatloaf and bake for an additional hour until the glaze is nicely set.
