Delightful white lasagna with chicken, artichokes, and gooey mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses adds a twist to the classic tomato-based dish.
Ingredients:
  • 12 lasagna noodles, or as needed
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken, or more to taste
  • 1 (14 ounce) can artichokes in water, drained
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.75 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided, or to taste
  • 0.5 cup sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained and chopped
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • 1. Boil a pot of lightly salted water. Add lasagna and cook till al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain.
  • Combine chicken, artichokes, shredded mozzarella, 1/2 cup Parmesan, and sun-dried tomatoes in a spacious bowl.
  • In a bowl, blend cream cheese, milk, 1 tablespoon basil, and garlic powder until smooth. Combine 2/3 of the cream cheese mixture with the chicken. Spread the rest of the cream cheese mixture in the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Place a single snug layer of lasagna noodles over the creamy cheese blend, follow it with a third of the savory chicken blend, and a layer of luscious mozzarella cheese slices. Repeat this delightful layering with noodles, chicken mixture, and mozzarella slices twice. Finish off by generously sprinkling the remaining Parmesan cheese and garnishing with fresh basil leaves.
  • Bake in the oven until beautifully golden and bubbling, approximately 25 minutes.
