Indulgent Middle Eastern dessert with milk and heavy cream.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch, or more as needed
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, whisk together milk, cream, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch until smooth. Cook over medium heat until the mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly for 10 to 15 minutes. Finish by removing from heat.
  • Divide the pudding evenly among 4 dessert bowls and let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Chill in the refrigerator for an additional hour. Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
