Delicious vodka shots inspired by Mexican mangonada with chamoy and Tajin.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 2 (.25 ounce) packages unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups mango puree
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1 teaspoon chamoy sauce, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chile-lime seasoning (such as Tajin®), or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, warm water and gelatin until dissolved, whisking for about 5 minutes. Stir in mango purée, sugar, and lemon juice until fully combined. Let it cool slightly off the heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Stir vodka into chilled mango gelatin until fully mixed.
  • Drizzle each 2-ounce cup with a touch of chamoy and a sprinkle of Tajin. Fill each cup evenly with mango gelatin, then sprinkle a little more Tajin on top. Chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours to set.
