Indulge in rich and buttery Marmite on toast with a generous spread of two teaspoons or more for an irresistible treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1-2 tablespoons oil with a high smoking point, such as rapeseed, quality extra virgin olive or sunflower
  • 60 g popping corn
  • 25 g butter
  • 1-2 teaspoons Marmite
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 150°C/300°F/gas 2. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add corn and shake pan to coat kernels evenly. Cover and cook, shaking pan every 30 seconds. Popcorn is done when pops are 2 to 3 seconds apart. Transfer to a large bowl. In a small pan, melt butter over low heat and mix in Marmite until smooth. Pour over popcorn, stirring well. Spread coated popcorn on lined tray and bake for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly crispy.
