Tender pork chops in marsala-honey marinade, served on a roll with sweet and spicy sauce - a delicious pork chop sandwich.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 2 cups honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 small pork chops, cut into thin strips
  • 1 cup rice vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 6 French rolls, split
  • 0.25 head lettuce, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together wine, honey, and 4 minced garlic cloves. Add pork and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
  • In a saucepan, bring vinegar to a boil. Add sugar and cook until dissolved in 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves, salt, and red pepper flakes until the dipping sauce is well combined.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the pork and marinade together, stirring occasionally, until the pork is cooked through, for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Fill French rolls with the delicious pork mixture, top with crisp lettuce, and enjoy these mouthwatering sandwiches with a side of savory dipping sauce.
