Creamy mascarpone meets crunchy pistachios in these irresistible snacks.
Ingredients:
  • 4 oz mascarpone cheese (about 1/2 cup), softened
  • 18 slices (1/4 inch thick) baguette French bread
  • 1/3 cup pistachio nuts (about 2 oz), coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Generously spread the cheese on each slice of bread and arrange them in a single layer in an ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan. Sprinkle the nuts over the cheese.
  • Bake until the bread's edges turn light golden, typically 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Drizzle honey over each toast and top with basil for a beautiful finish.
