Easy sheet pan Meat Lovers' Pizza: press dough, top with cheese, ham, sausage, pepperoni, bake for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces Italian sausage
  • 2 pounds room temperature pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 pound mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 4 ounces ham
  • 4 ounces pepperoni slices
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced thin
  • Dried parsley, garnish
  • Salt and pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Cook the sausage in a medium skillet over medium heat for about 8 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks, until it is cooked through.
  • Prepare the pizza crust: Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to match the size of your quarter-sheet pan. Place the dough in the pan and press firmly along the sides to create a raised edge. Embrace any imperfections - they add character to your homemade pizza. Remember, pizza dough is resilient and can be easily patched up if needed. Ensure the dough has a consistent thickness at the bottom of the pan for best results.
  • Assemble the pizza: Spread a thin layer of sauce over the dough in the sheet pan. Sprinkle on desired amount of cheese and toppings. Finish with generous sprinkles of dried parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake the pizza for 20 to 25 minutes until the edges of the crust are puffed and golden brown, the center is bubbling hot, and the cheese has browned slightly in spots.
  • Allow the pizza to cool for a bit before cutting into square-ish pieces and serving. Store any leftovers in the fridge, where they'll keep well for around a week. To enjoy the leftovers, simply reheat in a covered skillet over low heat for a few minutes.
