Elevate a classic with delicious meatloaf burgers.
Ingredients:
  • 500g Beef 3-Star Mince
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1 small brown onion, finely chopped
  • 60ml barbecue sauce
  • 23.40 gm wholegrain mustard
  • 18.40 gm vegetable oil
  • 160g pkt traditional liquid gravy
  • 150g capsicum
  • 4 Kaiser Rolls, split
  • 8 butter lettuce leaves, torn
  • 2 truss tomatoes, sliced
  • Mixed salad leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together minced meat, grated carrot, diced onion, barbecue sauce, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  • Warm up the oil in a sizable skillet on medium heat. Sear the patties for 5 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely browned and fully cooked.
  • Heat the gravy according to packet instructions.
  • Spread a generous layer of flavorful chutney on the roll bases. Layer crisp lettuce, savory patties, and juicy tomato slices on top. Now, drizzle with the rich gravy and finally crown with the remaining roll tops. Serve these delectable burgers alongside fresh salad leaves.
