Spice up your meal with a ketchup-free meatloaf featuring hot sauce and gravy mix for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 0.75 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup hot pepper sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (.75 ounce) packet dry brown gravy mix
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Combine onion, bell pepper, bread crumbs, hot pepper sauce, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Incorporate ground beef until fully mixed. Transfer mixture to a loaf pan and sprinkle gravy mix on top.
  • Bake at the set temperature until golden on the outside and cooked through, approximately 1 hour. Confirm doneness with a thermometer - it should register at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Rest for 10 minutes before serving.
