Wholesome granola made with oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit for a balanced and satisfying breakfast treat!
Ingredients:
  • 8 cups rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups wheat germ
  • 1.5 cups oat bran
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.75 cup honey
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups raisins or sweetened dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare two large baking sheets with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • In a large bowl, mix together oats, wheat germ, oat bran, sunflower seeds, almonds, pecans, and walnuts.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine oil, honey, brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Bring to a boil. Pour the hot mixture over dry ingredients, stir to coat, and spread evenly onto prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until golden and crisp, stirring halfway. Cool for 15 to 20 minutes before adding raisins.
