Versatile fish with zesty Meyer lemon cream sauce steals the show in this recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (4 ounce) salmon fillets
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Meyer lemon juice
  • 0.25 pinch dried dill weed
Instructions:
  • Collect all ingredients.
  • Season the salmon fillets with a touch of salt and pepper for enhanced flavor.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter until sizzling. Place the salmon, skin side-up, in the butter and cook until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Flip the salmon and cook until the skin is slightly browned and the fish flakes easily with a fork, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Melt the remaining butter in a saucepan, then press the garlic into it using a garlic press and cook for 1 minute. Add the cream and stir constantly for 2 minutes.
  • Carefully add lemon juice and dill to prevent the sauce from breaking.
  • Drizzle the zesty lemon sauce generously over the succulent salmon.
