Indulge in Middle Eastern flavors for a simple and healthy dinner party at home.
Ingredients:
  • 750g lamb mince
  • 1 large brown onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 5.00 gm ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon rind
  • 82.50 ml finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • 125.00 ml fresh breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • Lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, combine mince, onion, garlic, cumin, allspice, lemon rind, parsley, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Roll mixture into 32 evenly sized balls.
  • Prepare the barbecue plate or chargrill by spraying it with oil and heating it over medium-high heat. Grill the koftas, turning occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes until they are fully cooked. Serve with lemon wedges.
