Ingredients:
  • 36.00 gm sugar
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 24 fresh mint leaves, plus extra to garnish
  • 500.00 ml crushed ice
  • 250ml (1 cup) bourbon
  • Soda water
Instructions:
  • Combine the sugar and lime juice in a jug, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  • Crush the mint leaves in a mortar and pestle, then mix them with the sugar syrup. Add the crushed ice and bourbon, and stir thoroughly. Pour the mixture into tall glasses and finish with a splash of soda on top.
  • Top with additional fresh mint leaves and present with a decorative straw.
