Buttermilk drop cookies - a divine treat!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 cup buttermilk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease the cookie sheets.
  • Cream butter and sugar in a medium bowl until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, then mix well. Alternate adding flour mixture and buttermilk to the creamed mixture. Drop spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
