Refreshing mint iced tea with citrus juices is a mocktail twist on a mojito. Spike with rum and soda for a grown-up twist.
Ingredients:
  • 4 tea bags
  • 10 sprigs fresh mint, or more to taste
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 4 lemons, juiced
  • 4 limes, juiced
  • 1 splash vanilla extract
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 2 cups ice cubes
Instructions:
  • In a large heat-proof measuring cup, combine tea bags and mint sprigs. Add boiling water, cover with a small plate, and let steep for 15 to 20 minutes until desired strength. Strain the tea into a large mason jar, squeezing out excess liquid from the bags. Remove and discard mint and tea bags.
  • Combine sugar with tea, stirring until fully dissolved. Mix in lemon juice, lime juice, and vanilla extract. Gently pour cold water into the tea blend. Cover the container and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for optimal taste.
  • Add tea to a punch bowl or drink dispenser filled with ice.
